Since the day that Billy and I decided to get married, I’ve been on the web almost everyday searching for suppliers and inquiring about their services and importantly, their rates.
To think that it only has been about 4 months or so, I’m already feeling the stress and the pressure! I know that I’ve already booked some suppliers on my own but I know that I really couldn’t do it on my own…
Hence, the decision of getting a wedding coordinator. The only challenge is getting a reliable and dependable one, who I can also afford!
Being a member of w@w group really helped because I found the perfect coordinator for me.
She’s Ai Acosta.
I only started emailing her today and decided to book her after the 2nd email because I just felt that she’s the right coordinator for me. The person who’ll execute the wedding of my dreams. I’m not an OC (obsessive-compulsive) bride and not planning to be a bridezilla but all I want is that my wedding is going to be remembered by my family and friends because they enjoyed being there.
Because I already booked some of the suppliers, we agreed on a certain fee for her service. I am actually, happy about it because it’s within my budget!
Only a few hours since we started exchanging emails and she’s already starting to do her job without even receiving her downpayment yet! How cool is that???

We met up with Ai during the first week of my vacation in the Philippines. It wasn’t the awkward met up since Billy have met and spoken to her in person a few months back before I came home. She’s a very bubbly person. Always with her reliable bag, notebook and pencil.
We talked about the things that we’ve accomplished and the things that still needs to be done. She arranged our schedule so that we could do a lot of things during my month long stay.
During our meeting, she recommended a gown designer whom she knows and who is based in Bulacan, Jonathan Rubio. When she mentioned the name, he was the same designer that Billy had been recommending to me for the longest time. Apparently, Ai’s sister was a classmate or a friend of Jo and he was the one who made the gown of Bro. Eddie Villanueva’s (JIL) daughter who’s also Ai’s friend (and coincidentally my high school classmate). What a small world indeed!
Anyhow, when we went to do ocular at Fernwood and food tasting in Josiah’s, it didn’t feel like we were doing stuff for the wedding. It felt like we were going on a road trip with a very good friend we haven’t seen for a long time!
i wonder how much your wedding will cost.. im impressed on how you planned all of this.. wish you all the best!
hello..wondering how much is the price range for such a wedding in bulacan..we are also planning to tie the knot by next yr. thanks
hi…well, the cost of a wedding really depends on how many guest you’re planning to invite and of course the suppliers that you’re going to book. if you’re planning a wedding next year, better start booking suppliers as early as now so that you can get a better price. some, if not all suppliers tend to increase their price/rates every year.
